About Verified Capture
Verified Capture puts a digital seal on insurance claim photos the instant they are taken. If anyone changes the photo later, even slightly, the seal breaks and everyone can see it.
Why it's needed
Claims are decided on photos. But today anyone with a phone can change a picture in seconds, and the result looks just as real as the original.
Damage can be added, enlarged or erased with free apps that take no skill to use.
Old pictures from a past storm, another house, or the internet get submitted as new.
AI tools can create a convincing damage photo of something that never happened.
Trying to spot a fake by eye is slow and unreliable. Verified Capture flips the question: instead of hunting for fakes, it proves the real photos are real.
How it works
No app to install, no training to sit through. Here is everything that happens.
Your firm sends the homeowner its own secure capture link by text or email.
AdjusterThe link opens the phone's live camera. There is no upload button, so only a brand new photo can be sent.
HomeownerThe moment it arrives, we lock the photo together with the name, policy number and exact time.
AutomaticYour team reviews it in a private dashboard, checks the seal in one click, and exports a proof receipt.
Your teamThe seal, in plain English
When police collect evidence, they seal it in a bag that shows if anyone opened it. Verified Capture does the same thing for a photo.
A unique code made from every single pixel. Two different photos never share one.
We sign it, along with who took it and when, using a private key only our server holds.
If the photo changes, its fingerprint no longer matches the signed one. The mismatch is instant and obvious.
The two photos look identical to the eye. Their fingerprints do not.
What makes it different
How Verified Capture started
Verified Capture was founded in 2026 by Alex Graden. Alex's career is in IT, where the job is making sure the right people can reach the right things, and that there is a trustworthy record of everything that happens. In that world, you don't take anything on faith. You prove it.
Living in Florida, Alex saw how much rides on a single photo of storm damage. At the same time, editing apps and AI image tools were making it easier than ever to create a picture that looks real but isn't. Adjusters were being asked to play detective, squinting at photos and hoping to catch a fake.
Instead of trying to catch fakes after the fact, why not prove the real photos at the moment they're taken?
That idea became Verified Capture: a link any homeowner can open on their phone, a camera that only takes live pictures, and a digital seal applied the instant a photo arrives. It is built for small, owner-operated adjusting firms that need proof they can stand behind, without an IT department to set it up.

What we stand for
Every feature exists to give you a clear, defensible answer about a photo, not a hunch.
Claim photos are seen only by the firm handling the claim. We never sell data or use it to train AI.
If a homeowner can open a text message, they can use it. If your team can use email, they can run it.
